Agree 99%. The one percent is about the use of "they". They and us are the sides of the same coin. They are our shadow, our weakness.

I appreciate the comment. 1% isnt bad. 😉 I stand by my point tho. They're anti-human in ideology. None of us in our right mind want that or consciously choose it. We are manipulated and coersed into allowing it. As the great George Carlin said, "It's a big club, and you ain't in it!"

The UK show "Utopia" does a great job of explaining alot of the thinking behind their position.

It is tempting to see them as anti-human, reptiles, satanists and so on. I rather choose just ignorance in action, harming them and harming others. Best to keep them off if we can, or, sadly, if allowed.

The recent movie Killers of the Flower Moon shows William Hayes, sounds and acts similar to Bill Gates, displaying that ignorance. To dispel it, we need radical attention to our side of the coin, because the other is out of reach.

Utopia, I barely remember it. I will see it again.

To be clear, I never said they weren't human, or that they're "reptiles", or "Satanists". I am saying their ideology is anti human, not them physically. It's an important distinction, especially because other folks who do say they're physically not human. I am not saying that. It makes more sense to cal them sociopathic. Because thats alot closer to the truth. Granted it might be irrelevant when the means to an end look the same. Also listen to practically anything Yuval Noah Harari says. He's pretty much Klaus Schwabs right hand man. That's the brain rot I'm talking about.

Absolutely, spot on.

Since I am old, . . .older than thought , I recall a recurring scene in classic Tarzan movies: the witch doctor and the tribe. He'd raise his voice, bellow, and with his terrifying masks, subjugate the tribe through superstition and ignorance. This fear-based control mechanism remains unchanged (the amygdala), only now it operates in a technological context, not the jungle or caves. So, when an ignorant sociopath like Harari tries to instill fear, I can't help but think of the witch doctor. There will always be aspiring Hararis, especially in totalitarian times like ours. We're well-fed with fear lately: wars, viruses, the economy, even the weather. Just fear, wars, shock, and control.

I liked a line from another article of yours: "I will always leave breadcrumbs back to reality, in case we take a wrong turn in this new and intoxicating cyber forest... just in case we end up in the Matrix." To me, if an advanced alien species or simply humanity from the future sent a message to save us, it would be to change drug laws. Better in the 70´s, but is now or never. The damage done by these laws is so evident, and despite the evidence, we haven't made much progress. The war on drugs started it, but soon more and more delusional wars fueled by fear and control followed: war on cancer, AIDS, viruses, weather, genders... here we are, not in a stable Matrix, but approaching an irreversible entropic point like many past civilizations, only now on a planetary scale. In any case, the path back to sanity starts with changing drug laws. Otherwise, no future!
